Paula is a classically trained vocalist who has performed with several symphony orchestras, has an unexpected power, breath control and range that takes most blues audiences by surprise. Paula Harris is best known for her passionate blues performances. She’s made a name for Herself in the genre with multiple blues and music award nominations, airplay on more than 3000 stations worldwide and top honors in the biggest “Battle of the Bands” competition on the Planet, not to mention winning the Monterey Blues Festivals’ “Battle of the Bands” as well. With such a prominent blues presence, many don’t realize her roots are so firmly in jazz or that Paula is a classically trained vocalist who has sung with numerous symphony orchestras.
About Tony Saunders:
Tony Saunders has added the NCEM male Jazz artist of the year to his list of awards. Add this to the 2 Emmy's and back to back WC Handy award for best blues band while playing With Joe Louis Walker. Tonyproduced and played on "Funky Mabel" for John Lee Hooker. Tony Has not forgotten his Blues roots playing with Etta James, Bo Diddly and doing tracks for Jimmy McCraklin. Tony Co-wrote Red Hot Blues on a tribute to Muddy Waters CD. His success in jazz has kept him close to the blues playing with Eric Clapton, Dr John and many others in the Blues genre of Music. He also won back to back W.C. Handy Awards for his work with Joe Louis Walker and John Lee Hooker. He is also known for his work with Etta James, Bo Diddly, Jimmy McCrackin, Eric Clapton, Dr. John and Many Others.
