Dennis Jones has opened for Buddy Guy, Johnny Winter, and Dick Dale, and in 2023 the Jus Blues Awards named him the Bobby Rush Entertainer of the Year for his outstanding musicianship. Born in Monkton, Maryland in 1958 and raised on his parents' B.B. King and Bobby Bland records, he was handed a guitar at thirteen and never looked back. He cut his teeth in Zac Harmon's band, the crew that took first place at the 2004 International Blues Challenge, then built a catalog of eight albums on his own Blue Rock Records from Falling Up to About Time. Backed by his power trio, Jones plays it hard, loud, and straight from the gut. Two shows, one night on Mason Street.
