Dorothy Hill (1938 to 2023) was a life-long live music enthusiast and has been widely recognized by musicians and industry professionals as being one of the foremost authorities in the Bay Area jazz and blues world. Musicians, booking agents and industry insiders regularly sought her advice on talent buying, booking strategy and the intricacies of the music industry. Dorothy was also a respected music journalist and widely published jazz & blues photographer.
This unique special show will bring together a wide array of high caliber musicians to commemorate the life of Dorothy Hill for five different sets, including an all star jam to close the night.

Some of the proceeds will be used to establish a Dorothy Hill Music Instrument Purchasing Program for local aspiring Blues artists who are based in the Bay Area in coordination with The Golden Gate Blues Society and NAMM vendors with discounted artist pricing.
