Brazilian guitarist Artur Menezes has captivated the blues world since his 2010 debut, blending fiery blues-rock with intricate jazz grooves rooted in his Brazilian heritage. A masterful guitarist and soulful songwriter, he’s earned accolades like the Gibson/Albert King Award for Best Guitarist and placed 3rd at the 2018 International Blues Challenge.
A global performer, Artur has headlined festivals and shared stages with legends like Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, and Kenny Wayne Shepherd. In 2024, he’ll join the Experience Hendrix Tour and open for Buddy Guy on select dates. His latest album, Fading Away, produced by Josh Smith and featuring Joe Bonamassa, highlights his exceptional talent.
Beyond the stage, Artur teaches at Hollywood’s Musicians Institute, creates online courses, and co-founded Brazil’s "Casa do Blues" to promote the genre. A TEDx speaker, his influence spans music, education, and inspiring audiences worldwide.
